Wicked Jazz Sound is moving to Melkweg
Since 2005 Wicked Jazz Sound has been a steady force within Sugar Factory. For over thirteen years the WJS crew made many people ‘dance with a smile’ the night’s credo. During the course of those years the night grew for a steady fixture in the local nightlife to a well known institute with a nation wide appeal, drawing an enthusiastic, open-minded and diverse crowd. Picking a single highlight is impossible. Wicked Jazz Sounds never played it safe, always kept it special music-wise and connected so many people.
But there’s more; countless radio shows, compilations, the WJS festival and off course the WJS band. It is clear WJS means much more to many then just being one of the most fun and constant running club nights our country as to offer.
As of January 6th WJS and Sugar Factory will part ways. In order to foster the connection between the club night and live music and to create grounds for further development of the concept WJS has decided to move to De Melkweg. We wish both parties all the best in this new endeavor and much success in their newfound collaboration.
