Special concert by Andy Burrows and more upcoming live-acts in Sugarfactory

Last week, Sugarfactory confirmed four new live acts for this spring, among which ex-Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows. Special, because he hasn’t been touring in a while and this will be his only concert in the Netherlands for the time being. Also this season: the first edition of Other Future Festival will take place in the Melkweg and Sugarfactory, violinist and singer Hannah Epperson will play in De Waalse Kerk and we will hear Madensuyu’s avant-rock music in our main hall.

Andy Burrows (UK) – 2 March
Singer-songwriter Andy Burrows first found his fame as the drummer in the British indie rock band Razorlight, for which he wrote their world hit ‘America’. As a solo artist he makes honest, urgent pop songs that sound classic as well as fresh.

Hannah Epperson (CA) – 6 April
Armed with her violin, loop pedal and voice, sonic weaver Hannah Epperson arranges musical landscapes without indulgence or over-saturation. On April the 6th, she will play her music for us in De Waalse Kerk.

Madensuyu (BE) – 31 March
Enjoy the calm for now, because a storm called Madensuyu is coming. Their post-rock with elements of noise and kraut is mesmerizing and ruthless in the end.
