For years in a row, Sugarfactory is one of the programmers of the Uitmarkt Stage in Amsterdam, during the Uitmarkt events. This year, a new edition is coming up with Thaïti, Faradays and Baer Traa.
21:30 – 21:50 Faradays
22:10 – 22:30 Baer Traa
23:00 – 23:30 Thaïti
Under the moniker Faradays songwriter and physicist Karindra Perrier crafts her electronic indie songs. The pop songs are built from experimental sounds, in which a special seat is reserved for her greatest obsession: time. Days of tinkering with sounds that either find or evade each other. Lyrically she muses on topics like time and space, the future and dear memories.
Baer Traa is the new soul and americana man from Rotterdam. His first singleStone Cold Woman immediately became a 5-star track at Gerard Ekdom (Radio 2) and reflects what Baer’s music revolves around; tight grooves, soulful songs and a good dash of blues. With his raw, sincere performance and in his band members of Janne Schra, Jo Goes Hunting and Ntjam Rosie, this is an act not to be missed.
Spicy danceable worldbeat, influenced by R&B, post-punk and 80’s disco. Armed with percussion, synths, vibey vocals and a healthy love for greasy grooves and hooks, Thaïti manages to bring a ‘Gran-Fiesta’ to every stage they go.
