‘Where do dreams begin?’ Alice Boman whispers these words on her latest open-hearted single ‘Dreams’, which sounds like an elegy in the beginning, but ends with reverberations of consolation and salvation. This duality typifies the hushed, lo-fi music made by this singer-songwriter from Sweden, using only her voice and piano most of the time. After the release of two enchanting ep’s, she announced that her debut album will be on the way in 2018. Until then, we’d love to get carried away by her earlier work anytime.
