Hell's Kitchen presents Rubbadub
DJs FS Green, Full Crate, Brutuzz, J.A.M, Mc Akwasi & Mc Skinto, VJ Lennart Visual
In case you heard about the fire: we're still on for the night! With crazy sounds of dubstep, grime and dancehall getting mixed with the originals they evolved from: hiphop, reggae, soul and funk. Mo fire, mo fire!

Hell’s Kitchen proudly presents a new party: Rubbadub.
The first edition of Rubbadub, a bi-monthly clubnight in the Sugar
factory, is about to start on Friday February 12th 2010.
Rubbadub is all about the cross-over of the best “black” music into
a smooth mix. Expect sounds of dubstep, grime and dancehall getting
mixed with the originals they evolved from: hiphop, reggae, soul and funk.
As the Hell’s Kitchen party is all about the funk and hiphop we decided to
create a spin-off of Hell’s Kitchen to give a podium to this new and
fresh sound with resident dj’s FS Green, Full Crate and Brutuzz.
Award winning producer FS Green no longer needs an introduction.
He produced beats for artists such as Winne, Jiggy Dje, Turk, Deams and
Bizz Banascus. A very talented down to earth brilliant dj/producer.
Full Crate, one of the most charming figures in the scene, produced
soulful tracks such as ‘She Was Fly’ and ‘Flirtwitu’ which were well
received all over. With the upcoming EP ‘Conversations With Her’ with
Mar we foresee a shooting star in 2010 for this big talent.
In our opinion these two dj/producers personify the evolvement of the young
hiphop- and soul community into styles as grime and dubstep.
The resident team will be completed by Brutuzz, a young and talented guy
in the dubstep scene, he played party’s like Oi!, Mysteryland, Raw Rhythm and
Solar Weekend alongside names as Skream, Benga, Caspa, Rusko and Gomes.
Besides dubstep his musical taste ranges from beats and breaks to hiphop, funk
and two-step and he’s not afraid to mix it all up.
DJ J.A.M. is the guest dj of this opening event, he is a well known dj from London
who came to Amsterdam six years ago and brought some of the best dubstep party’s
with him. He organized his own Offbeat party’s at the NDSM with the King Shiloh Soundsystem, played at the Lockdown party’s and the World sessions.
Mc Akwasi & Mc Skinto, both very talented artists, big in the dutch hiphopscene
and also influenced by grime, UK hiphop and dubstep. They are the best mc’s to
present this first dubstep cross-over hiphop party.
Vj Lennart Visual, a long history in dubstep and a love for obscure music. With a
packed agenda and an attitude that fits with it. Lennart visuals brings images in a
dark and dirty fashion. The Rubbadub sound visualized to complete a great party..
